Lei Liang is an American composer of contemporary classical music. He holds a Ph.D. in composition from Harvard University, Boston. Liang teaches at University of California, San Diego, where he holds the title of «Chancellor's Distinguished Professor of Music». His compositional oeuvre includes works for stage, orchestra, chamber ensembles, voice, keyboard instruments, as well as electro-acoustic works and film scores.
